The site’s basically non-working on my two Android 9 phones at the moment.  Hangs inexplicably for long periods... seems ad-related, since with AdBlock on the desktop at least the content loads.

I don’t think this is too much to ask for. The guilty-until-proven-innocent pending approval system is pretty harsh. If one author sees fit to ungrey you, it really ought to “ clear your name” for the other sites as well. An d i f you turn out to be a troll in sheep’s clot hing , you can always get kicked back into the greys.

On a related note, it sucks that authors are burdened with being in charge of ungreying. There are just too many commenters for that. Maybe they should appoint some moderators   to help oversee the comment sections.
